My French friends braved Delhi’s summer heat by traveling two hours to see the tomb of Humayun, which they considered a must-see before returning to France. They submerge themselves in the nation’s rich past and civilization, allowing themselves to be lost in time. Their inquisitive, sympathetic mind searches for narratives to explain what they have in front of them.
It's not easy when you are told that you should submit to your fate and that you cannot aspire and therefore must live in somebody else’s shadow. These two young Afghan women, epitomizing bravery and fortitude, traveled to India in the hopes of a brighter future. They combat stereotypes and prejudices that have been thrown at them. They show the conviction and desire to transform their lives for the better.
Sonipat is a region dominated by agriculture. My college is surrounded on all sides by farmland. As the heat beats down on Sonipat, the rain cools the scorching terrain. Rain makes everyone cheerful; students are happy within the campus, and farmers are pleased outside the campus. Here, students on a college campus gather to enjoy the pleasant weather. Some students converse, others play frisbee, snap photographs, and many others study under a tree.
Football brings individuals from all walks of life together to play as a team despite their differences in order to reach a shared objective. The football players patiently await the start of their match.
These young girls prepare their country’s best dishes to be given to the entire university. What better approach to emphasise the cultural awareness than this? A true representation of communal solidarity.
The employees form a line to exit the building after having their belongings inspected by security officers. They are the ones who oversee the entire campus and ensure that it runs well by trying to keep it clean and orderly and performing even the most tedious tasks such as cleaning toilets. They are, however, paid roughly 9,000, which is a pittance.
